SOUTH TYNESIDE QUADKIDS ATHLETICS FINALS Y5/6 2026Yesterday, children from Year 5/6 took part in the Quadkids Athletics competition at Monkton Stadium.
They took part in four events : 600m, sprint, howler throw and standing long jump.
The children were fantastic in all events and showed great team spirit throughout the day.Our A Team secured GOLD with 1650, St. Bede’s 2nd 1601 and St. Aloysius 3rd 1569.Ava achieved the highest score of the day overall to win the girls individual event with a breathtaking total of 274 points (A South Tyneside Record), plus Maro was 1st overall boy with a score of 261 points. Congratulations!!
