Year 4 South Tyneside Tennis Finals 2025
This afternoon, 8 children competed at Boldon Lawn Tennis Club and were crowned the champions! They won 29, drew 6 and lost just 5 of their matches! Their hard work and commitment to training had paid off.
They were crowned winners, 2nd Monkton and 3rd Cleadon A. A difficult competition in the sunshine.
Well done to all children, we are so proud of you. Well deserved winners

Y4 South Tyneside Tennis Finals 2024
Today our budding tennis stars competed at Boldon LTC and were crown CHAMPIONS!
They won 34 drew 1 and lost just 13 of their matches. Their hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and determination to succeed has certainly paid off.
They were crowned winners having done superbly, 2nd St. Aloysius and 3rd East Boldon.
It is a tremendous achievement. Well done to all of the pupils, I am so proud of you all. Congratulations!

Today our budding tennis stars competed at Boldon LTC and were VICTORIOUS.
They won 42 drew 3 and lost just 9 of their matches. Their hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and determination to succeed has certainly paid off.
They were crowned winners having done superbly, 2nd Monkton Academy and 3rd Lord Blyton.
It is a tremendous achievement. Well done to all of the pupils, I am so proud of you all. Congratulations!
They now go forward to represent South Tyneside in the Tyne and Wear County Finals in June. 🎾🏆🥇

Tyne and Wear Y4 Tennis Finals 2022

Well done to our Tennis Team who today competed in the Tyne and Wear Schools’ County Finals at Silksworth Sports Complex.
In the 8 budding tennis players finished 5th overall with a score of 415. Well done!
1st Hill View (Sunderland) 486

3rd East Boldon Juniors (South Tyneside) 465

We have had a tremendous success in WINNING the South Tyneside Tennis Finals, held at Boldon LTA today.👏👏👏
Our 8 fantastic tennis players won 18, drew 7 and lost just 7 of their matches. They also performed wonderfully in 5 challenge events too! Their hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and determination to succeed has certainly paid off.
They were resounding winners with a total of 17 points, =2nd were St. Bede’s South Shields and Mortimer Primary.
A tremendous achievement. I’m simply delighted and so, so proud of each and every child involved. Congratulations! 🎾🏆🥇

Today we have had a wonderful success in WINNING the South Tyneside Tennis Finals, held at Boldon LTA.

Our 8 fantastic tennis players won 27, drew 3 and lost just 2 of their matches. Their hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and determination to succeed has certainly paid off.

They were resounding winners having done superbly in their challenges too, 2nd were Lord Blyton and 3rd Mortimer.

It is a tremendous achievement. Well done to all of the pupils, I am so proud of you all. Congratulations!

 

 

Tyne and Wear Y4 Tennis Finals 2019

TYNE AND WEAR COUNTY FINALS 2019
Yesterday we had great success in the Tyne and Wear County School Games Finals at Silksworth, Sunderland.
Cassie was crowned County Y3/4 CHAMPION for Quadkids Athletics – an amazing achievement. Her talent was clear to see as she shone brightly in all 4 events.
Her Y3/4 Quadkids team mates excelled to win BRONZEt!
Our Y5/6 Quadkids team finished 4th, agonisingly close to gaining a medal.
Finally, our Y4 Tennis team played well to win 11 matches, but unfortunately did not progress beyond the group stages.
Well done to all 29 pupils who represented our school yesterday.
I’m very proud of each and everyone of you.
Congratulations to all of the medallists!

South Tyneside Schools’ Tennis Finals 2019

We have had a tremendous success in WINNING the South Tyneside Tennis Finals, held at Boldon LTA  today and thus defending our title from 2017 & 2018.

Our 8 fantastic tennis players won 20, drew 4 and lost just 8 of their matches. Their hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and determination to succeed has certainly paid off.

They were winners with a total of 8.5 points, 2nd were Biddick Hall A 8 points and 3rd were East Boldon 6.5 points.

They, alongside our Athletics Team will now compete in the Tyne and Wear County Finals on June 27th at Silksworth Sports Complex in Sunderland.

A tremendous achievement. I’m simply delighted and  proud of each and every child involved. Congratulations!
