Children in South Tyneside were asked to enter a competition to design a Christmas card for the Mayor’s office in the Town Hall. Out of all the entries, Robyn in Year 3 was awarded the runner up prize.
Well done Robyn!
We are super proud of you.
This week it was World Science Day. In Year 3 we did our own experiment. We made our own slime and saw how it went from liquid to a solid depending on how hard we pressed it. We got a bit messy!!!
Today, Year 3 had two palaeontologists come to our school!
Socially distanced of course!
As part of our Geography topic ‘Where does our food come from?’, Year 3 have been trying some Mediterranean food today.
Originating from Southern Italy, we have tasted olives, figs, peppers, grapes, pomegranate, various cheeses, pizza and pasta.
The children really enjoyed it and tried some things they had never tried before.
