Year 5 Reading

By T Capon6th October 2017

Year 5 have been really enjoying reading the book Cosmic by Frank Cottrell Boyce. The story is about the adventures of a taller than average boy called Liam Digby. The book links in nicely with our science topic of Space.

The children have produced some fantastic work in their English books in response to the text and have also loved sketching astronauts on the Moon in our art lessons.

The children in Year 5 love to read and talk about books. Here are some photographs of them using our online reading challenge Achieve 3000 and silent reading in class.
