Year 4’s Big Draw 2020
The children were very creative and produced some very detailed drawings. Well done!
Year 4 enjoyed celebrating World Book Day 2020. We talked about some of our favourite stories and characters, shared some stories with our peers and created our own book mark
Yesterday, Year 4 mixed some cookie mixture using fair trade products. After some baking took place first thing this morning, the children enjoyed eating them!
The children in Year 3 have made such an effort to dress up as their favourite character from their favourite book! Well done!
Happy World Book Day!

Yesterday, Year 4 had a great time cooking with fair trade products. We bought some fair trade products to make our own hot chocolate drink (some of us added cream) and chocolate chip cookies. We also explored basic needs required in order to survive, including countries from across the world and how these may differ. It brought up a great debate when trying to prioritise.
Sports Relief will take place from Monday 9th – Friday 13th March 2020.
As always, we support the event as much as possible. This year we will be selling Sports Relief Official Wristbands in the school hub. The wristbands will be £1.00 and on sale all week and ALL profits will go to the Sports Relief charity.
Thank you for your continuous support.
Fantastic Four get ‘call up’ to represent Tyne and Wear County!
Four Stanhope children have been selected to represent Tyne and Wear against other Counties in the Sportshall Athletics Regional Finals on March 28th at Temple Park Leisure Centre!
Congratulations to these 4 boys.
What a wonderful achievement. We are very proud of you all.
I can’t wait to see you perform. Best of luck!
Mr Rogers
Year 4 were introduced to our new History topic of WW2 this week. The children have had a great time researching and finding out facts through a fact hunt.
