Well done!
This morning Reception and Year 1 visited Fenwick’s window. The children loved seeing the scenes from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, then enjoyed a gingerbread man biscuit. The children behaved very well and were an asset to the school. Well done everyone!

Thank you all for supporting the Mindful Moments shop in our fundraising last week. There are a few Mindful Memory Jars and Meditation Candles left, so get yours before they go. A great stocking filler just in time for Christmas! Please see Miss Coils or ask at the school office.
Thank you
‘January will see our second Well being Event here at Stanhope Primary. We have invited visitors who work for services throughout South Tyneside which are here to support our children and families to come along and chat or be available to answer questions. Miss Coils (Stanhope’s own Well being Officer) will also be available to chat. There will be special guests to create a relaxing afternoon with hand massage and arty fun! Why not finish your afternoon off with a delicious Afternoon Tea or just a cuppa and a biscuit? We look forward to seeing you all there.’
CHRISTMAS MUGS are still available to purchase before the holidays. There are 3 designs to choose from, that can be personalised for free. Mugs are £2.50 each. Final date for orders is Thursday 19th December 2019.

In maths, year 3 have been learning about the properties of 3D shapes. Using spaghetti and marshmallows they had a go at making their own cubes, cuboids, pyramids and even a pentagonal prism.
