TikTok

21st April 2021S Office
Dear Parents/Carers

It has come to my attention that children in school are using the social media app ‘TikTok’ at home.

TikTok has a age restriction of 12 years old. I understand that children like to keep up with their peers online. I advise that if your child has a TikTok account that they are supervised while using the app.

If your child is worried regarding content they have seen online or have heard from other children, please be assured there is always a trusted grown up who they can talk to in school.

We have identified staff in school, that are Kidsafe trained.
