Health and safety during cold weather

19th November 2019S Office
Parents, Carers and Children,

Due to low temperatures, the school grounds are very icy. The paths and walkways have been gritted so please use them and do not walk on surfaces that have not been gritted – especially the wooden areas!

Once the school gates are open at 8.50am, children are able to come straight into their classrooms to avoid accidents.

Please take care on your way to and from school.

Thank you ❄️❄️❄️❄️

Introducing Stanhope Primary School’s LOOK FOR A BOOK. From Monday, a variety of books will be hidden around school for the children to find. Books will be hidden for children in EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

When they find a book, they may take the book home to read. Once they have finished reading, they will need to return the book to re-hide it somewhere in school for another pupil to find.
