Today Dr Mark Carpenter came in and shared his ‘Dreamcatcher’ Assembly with the whole school. It was fascinating listening to Mark and he dispelled many worries and beliefs linked to the medical profession. He recently spoke to the children as part of our second Job Fair and couldn’t wait to work with them again today.
The children had the opportunity to put peers into the recovery position too.
Mark then worked with Y5 and Y6 in 2 workshops where they learned how to perform CPR.
Thank you Mark!
Next week we welcome the Barclay’s Team back to work with the children in Key Stage 2.
Year 5 had an excellent time at the Open Zone @ The Word yesterday. They learned how to log in to their school email, send emails and create their own websites about Marie Curie! They even had time at the end of the day to do some computer coding on Hour of Code website https://code.org/minecraft
Reminder
Flu Vaccination forms must be in school by tomorrow. Thank you
