This week at Stanhope Primary School is E-Safety Week. Throughout the week, children have been taking part in various E-Safety based tasks. This is what Year 3 have been doing this week:
Perfect weather today for blowing bubbles, making kites and running with the wind catchers.
Yesterday in class, the children in Year 1 have been learning subtraction using number cards and number lines. The children have made some great progress!
Following our School Council assembly last week the following children have been elected from each class:
Y1 – Cullen Bloomfield & Holly Wilkinson
Y2 – Damon Thompson & Sky Spanton
Y3 – Maisie Bainbridge & Given Mbila
Y4 – Lily Bond & Kieron Walker
Y5 – Aston Hall & Lexi Donaldson
Y6 – Erika Judd & TJ Ridley
We wish them lots of luck in their roles!
They will be fantastic ambassadors for Stanhope and help to improve our school.
Year 3 have been reading the story ‘Leon and the place between,’ in English. They are really enjoying the story and have been making predictions about the text and writing persuasive posters.
We set up an experiment to find out which foods birds like the best.
We found out that the birds like the mealworms the best.
We also made some cereal necklaces for the birds and put them in Forest School.
