South Tyneside Tag Rugby Champions 2025 What a fantastic afternoon! 16 of our children visited Monkton School to compete in the South Tyneside Finals. Our 2 teams competed with brilliant team spirit. The children gave 100% in each and every game.
Our A Team topped the table in their group to move forward to the Semi Finals, winning all of their games. Our B Team won 1 game 4-0 and lost 2 games.
The A Team played Lord Blyton A in the Semi Final which resulted in a 1-1 tie! It was an intense few minutes to find out which team had the most overall points and progressed to the final. Our A Team progressed to the final to play Monkton A Team.
The team played a very high quality final against Monkton A, it was Lucas who managed to score in the last minute to win the game and take Gold!
