On Thursday 4th October 2018, Year 6 visited South Shields Fire Station to participate in RAP (Reducing Accidents at Play). During the morning session, Â the children took part in various activities and workshops held by the following services/businesses/agencies:
- Tyne and Wear Fire Safety
- RLNI
- Nexus
- Northern Gas
- Northern Powergrid
- School Nurses
- Road Safety
During these sessions the children learnt vital information that could prevent accidents and keep them safe in a number of scenarios. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
