WOW!! What a day!! Our A Team were crowned County CHAMPIONS and our B Team Runners-Up in the Tyne and Wear Dodgeball Finals, held at Tyne Met College today.
The players were absolutely tremendous throughout the day, with the A Team undefeated and the B Team only losing to their counterparts.
The A Team now progresses to the NORTHERN REGIONAL FINALS!
Our B Team were also awarded the Sportsmanship Award – it was lovely to hear of their kindness and support of the other teams from the staff of their rivals today. Fantastic.
Congratulations to both teams who played with great skill, determination and a good sporting attitude too. Their hard work and practice for many weeks certainly has paid off.
I’m personally extremely proud of them all. Lots more practice ahead for our winning team too!

Congratulations to our ‘tremendous ten’ who have qualified for the NATIONAL DODGEBALL FINALS in Nottingham (July 2020)!!
They faced stiff competition and played fantastically well to finish as Runners-Up to Sunnyside Academy (Middlesbrough), losing 9-3 in a closely fought final.
The team worked well together to have some wonderfully accurate shots, great catches and really impressive communication too. We are so proud of you all and your fantastic achievement.
They will compete against 19 other schools from all over Great Britain. Therefore we will certainly have lots more training and practice sessions ahead of us.
Third were St. Aloysius R.C. Federation (Hebburn).
Further details with regards to the finals will be sent to parents in due course.
Congratulations once again!
Mr Rogers.
