In English this week, we worked as a team to discuss our spelling pattern ‘cian’ and played a loop game. The children have also completed writing a letter to Grandma Krank (from George’s Marvellous Medicine). They self edited their own work as well as peer marked. Some great discussions with one another and lots of positive praise. Some children volunteered to share to the class too!
In Maths, we began to look at coordinate grids. We tried hard to remember to rule ‘Walk along the ground, then climb the ladder’ to help us with the x and y axis.
We took part in the Google Meet session with Year 6. We listened to their speeches and voted for our House Captain and Vice Captain. It was great fun and lovely to see so many faces across the school on our screen.
Year 4 took part in the Santa Paws competition. We have had a great response from our families. We would like to THANK YOU for your support. This is supporting a great cause and we know they will be thrilled by the time and effort put in by both the children and the adults at home.

HOUSE CAPTAIN ELECTIONS 🤗🤩👏🏼🔴🟡🟢🔵👏🏼
Today via the means of Google Meet we virtually held our annual House Captain elections across Key Stages 1 and 2.
Year 6 were fantastic reading their speeches to the school via a video link and overcame their nerves to do a great job. 👍
After all speeches were completed everyone cast their votes and when they were totalled the results were announced.
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 to our newly elected House Captains and Vice Captains – we are sure you will do us all proud.
Mr Rogers
