This morning our Year 5/6 gymnastics team took part in the South Tyneside gymnastics competition at the Urban Factory in Hebburn.
They performed a routine in front of the judges (which was very nerve wracking).
They also got a chance to use some of the facilities, which was great fun. Everyone tried really hard and I am super proud of all the children.
Our A Team finished in silver medal position and the B Team in 14th.

Please read the below information carefully.
Thank you

CONGRATULATIONS! Our wonderful Athletics team WON the South Tyneside Sportshall Athletics Finals yesterday at Temple Park – they were truly outstanding
.
They combined together to compete in jumping, throwing, agility and sprint events culminating in a brilliant overall team GOLD medal in both the morning session and OVERALL.
Words cannot express how proud I am of the children – their hard work and dedication, along with great determination has allowed them to continue to grow and develop as great athletes this year.
It was a wonderful moment for all of the children when we were announced as winners (defending our title for the 6th consecutive year) – a much deserved success.
Onwards now to the County Finals in January!

Congratulations to our A Team who were crowned CHAMPIONS today!! They were outstanding, running out 3-0 winners against St.Aloysius in the final. 3rd were Cleadon Village Primary who we defeated in a close semi-final. Our B Team also played very well and failed to progress by just 2 points from their group. We will now compete in the Tyne and Wear Finals later this year.
I’m so proud of all of the team who have worked very hard in preparing for this event.
Well done! Mr Rogers

Pre loved Halloween Costumes

We are collecting Halloween costumes for our Pre Loved Shop. If you have any costumes/items, which your child has grown out of and you no longer need, please bring them into school as soon as possible.
If you would like to browse our free Pre Loved shop, you are able to do so from Monday 16th October 2023 and select a costume you wish to take for your child.
Following this Halloween coming, please do not throw away your child’s costumes, as we ask that you bring them into school after half term, ready for our preloved shop next year.
This includes costumes, masks and any other Halloween themed items!
